Caso Valgard Murray

Esta es la traducción de un mensaje emitido por el Rito Odínico respecto a este caso:

Corrigiendo las incongruencias y falsedades de la deposición de Valgard Murray.

Se le pidió al Rito Odínico (RO) que realizara un estudio acerca de la comparecencia que realizó Michael Valgard Murray en su papel de testigo pagado por el Departamento Penitenciario Estadounidense de Ohio contra la creencia Ásatrú-Odinista en Prisión.

Michael Murray es la cabeza de una iglesia llamada Ásatrú Alliance (AA). Habiendo estudiado el caso encontramos muchas incongruencias y falsedades, gran parte de de ellas involucrando al Rito Odínico, por eso se consideró necesario, en virtud de la verdad y la claridad, que se presentara el siguiente documento (en idioma inglés).

Algunos datos importantes que contiene el documento:

El Sr. Murray perteneció al RO como aprendiz.
El Sr. Murray sólo puede hablar como representante de la organización que preside, el RO no lo considera con ningún cargo.
La preparación del calendario rúnico que exhibe el Sr. Murray no es de creación propia, está utilizando el trabajo realizado por el RO.
El Sr. Murray nombra a su organización como creadora del Ásatrú - Odinísmo, argumento que es falso.
El Sr. Murray mintió sobre los argumentos de disolución de la IAOA, una alianza internacional de ásatrúars - odinistas entre la AA, el RO, la Ásatrú Folk Assembly (AFA) y el AET que duró de 1997 al 2002 EC.

La AT se reserva el derecho de emitir un juicio sobre Valgard Murray, ya que la esfera de los hechos trasciende a nuestra organización, además que no tenemos el gusto de conocer a nadie del Ásatrú Alliance. Queremos informar que desde hace algún tiempo algunas personas han estado usando el foro de supremacía blanca odinist.com para publicar información robada de odinist.net, el foro oficial de Odinísmo Internacional. Hemos detectado que el usuario de nombre "myskia", con IP 201.141.16.206 fue la última persona que hizo una intervención mal intencionada con el fin de crear confusión. Para aquellas personas que desconocen los argumentos de fondo, odinist.com solía ser el foro oficial de la Nación Odinista, pero la moderación tuvo problemas con el dueño del foro, que quería convertirlo en un lugar político de supremacía blanca. Se decidió entonces crear odinist.net para continuar trabajando en internet sin tener que mezclar política con religión.

Correcting the inaccuracies and falsehoods of Valgard Murray's Deposition.

The Odinic Rite (OR) has been asked to study a deposition made by one Michael Murray aka Valgard Murray in his role as a paid witness for the State of Ohio Corrections Dept. against Asatru/Odinist convicts.

Michael Murray is the head of an Asatru organization or church called the Asatru Alliance (AA). On studying it we found it contained so many inaccuracies and falsehoods, many directly concerning the Odinic Rite, it was felt in the interests of truth and clarity the actual facts should be presented.

The TA reserves any judgment on Valgard Murray, we consider the facts regarding this issue far beyond our organizational jurisdiction, and we haven't so far, met any Asatru Alliance member to have an opinion. Somehow, the TA fully support any arguments manifested in this document by the Odinic Rite, for being an honorable and virtuous organization that had always support our work.

We are very glad to inform that in commemoration of our 3rd anniversary, the Teutonic Alliance is having an Intercontinental reunion in South America in this Hurninga-Azno month. Members from north and south the continent will finally unite to perform a conjunctive blót and exchange brotherhood. We want to inform that some opportunist people had been using the white supremacist forum odinist.com for publishing stolen information from the Odinist's official forum odinist.net. We have detected that the user called "myskia", IP address, 201.141.16.206 is the one behind the last intervention, with the only means of creating confusion. For those who do not know the background, odinist.com used to be the official forum of the Odinist Nation, but the moderators had problems with the owner, which converted this forum into a white power political site. The odinist organizations decided to create odinist.net to continue working in the internet, without mixing politics with religion.
